David Long is the owner and lead carpenter for Long Custom Carpentry.
David brings to every engagement an understanding and respect that your project is not just a “job” or a “project,” it is your home.
With approximately 20 years of finish fine carpentry experience working on some of the Boston area’s most beautiful and interesting homes, David brings an attention to detail honed through the discipline and leadership he gained while serving in the US Military.
Projects where David has worked have been featured in notable New England home design publications.
On the rare occasion he is not working on an amazing renovation, you can find David running the occasional ultra-marathon, hiking the White Mountains, or chasing his wife and two children.

- Bachelor of Arts – Criminal Justice, University of Massachusetts
- Masters of Education – Counseling, Bridgewater State University
- Professional Certifications and Construction Supervisors Licensure – Wentworth Institute of Technology
- All licensure training and certifications are up to date through the Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor licensing
